Process for utilizing waste comprises preparing a flowable pumpable mixture and solid residual materials and fuels, pre-heating using process heat, adding to the fluidized bed of a stationary fluidized bed furnace and thermally decontaminating. The dwell time required is determined by the concentration of the materials on adding powdered additives for binding SO2 and grading of the primary air at 0.9-2.5 m/s empty pipe speed and inert bed height of 0.9-1.8 m. The material is continuously removed from the reactor and used to pre-heat the primary air.
