The gable wall component is formed as a U-shaped component (10) built in a wall formation with a foot plate (12) and two side legs (11,13). The side legs on one face side of the component are provided with inclined face sides (15,16) matching the roof inclination ( alpha ). The foot plate in the area of the inclined face sides has a recess (14) for a reinforceable beam. The end edge (18) of the foot palte has a distance (T) vertical to the inclined face side of the side legs which is equal to or greater than the thickness of the beam to be introduced.
