The machine has two longitudinal beams (11) for supporting girders of framework panels. A support device (101) is positioned between the two longitudinal beams, and is equipped with a support element (103) to support components of the framework panels in a site between the two longitudinal beams. The support element includes a support roller that is freely rotated around a horizontal axis. The support device is supported by a beam (32) extending transversely above the two longitudinal beams, and includes a carriage (102) that supports the support element in an indirect manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling framework panels.
