A corrosion protected component assembly comprises an adhesively bonded corrosion protection element (5) between a component sealing element (2) and another component surface (3). A corrosion protected assembly of two components, one being a metallic component with an opening into which is (partially) inserted a second component having a sealing element for cooperating with the first component surface, includes an adherent corrosion protection element (5) in the form of a seal, disk or foil adhesively bonded onto the surface (3) of the first component (4) and located between the seating face (1) of the sealing element (2) and the first component surface (3).
