A procedure for determining changes of the centre of gravity of a vehicle with at least two axles and at least three wheels has the vehicle driven in a curve. During the travel in the curve, first state parameters corresponding with the respective wheel load are detected at least at two wheels. The detected first state parameters are compared with reference values representing the respective wheel load and from the deviations between them, a corresponding change of center of gravity is calculated.
