The drying plant, particularly for plant products, comprises a drying chamber (2) with a holding device supporting spaced apart, superimposed product carriers (3), a device producing an air flow in the drying chamber, a heating device for heating the air flow, together with at least one changeover device (4) for changing the air flow into another direction. The drying chamber is so formed that the air flow after flowing over one or more product carriers on a first height level (h1) is changed over to a second height level (h2). On the second height level at least one other product carrier is over-flowed.
