The vehicle window (10) has a shape which tapers to one side in a wedge shape, on its width direction. The window frame (12) has a constant cross section, and has at least one additional guide structure (36,40) for the second window pane (16) in the window assembly at the bottom and top. A guide wedge (38) compensates for the lack of parallelism between the two guide grooves (36,40).
