Concealed central locking system for sliding parallel window or door sashes

The central locking system fittings, especially the corner profiles, hinges and lock parts, are mounted in a groove (47) with an undercut (48) extending around the profiled metal or plastics sash frame periphery. Driving rod sections are used to engage lock fittings on the same end side of the sash. An arm section (32) of the guide casing for the corner profile and guide member (39) in an adjacent actuator arm (41) on the same end side of the sash both have side plates (32a,40) capable of engaging with the groove undercut. Screw fasteners (35) are used to fix the side plates into the grooves. An Independent claim is also included for the mounting of the central locking system in the sash frame.
