The structure has a sliding tarpaulin (3) and sliding stanchions (4) between platform base and roof strut (8). The sliding stanchions are positioned close to each other. The tarpaulin with vertical reinforcements, is tensioned between the longitudinal outer edge (6) of the platform and the outer edge of the roof (7). Due to the small distances between the stanchions, and the stiffness of the longitudinal outer edges of the roof, which act against a bending movement downward and in horizontal transverse direction, the tarpaulin is able to hold back any loads, which press against it from inside.
