Control method for voltage DC-link converter mains-side static converter semiconductor interruptable switch

A control method for interruptible semiconductor switch (T1- T6) of a mains-side static converter (4) of a voltage DC-link converter (2), with anti-parallel-connected diodes (D1-D6), in which during the current supply time, the electrically anti- parallel connected diode (D1-D6) of each interruptible switch (T1-T6) is switched to the conducting state. The current supply times are determined by the natural commutation time-periods. The switches (T1,T3,T5) form a positive half-bridge of the static converter(4) and the switches (T2,T4,T6) form a negative half bridge. A device (22,24) is provided specifically for generating control signals (ST1....6) and is linked on the output-side to the semiconductor switch (T1-T6) driving devices (28,30,32), and on the input side to phase-conductors (U,V,W) of the mains network (10).
