The planetary gear assemblies of the mill are installed inside a one-piece ring gear housing(19) which carries ring gears(17,18). One stage of the planetary gear is guided by a plain bearing(13) installed vertically inside the housing between the ring gears. The ring gears have the same diameter and are each shrunk into the housing. Parts of the planetary gear are installed inside the thrust ring(14). The take-off of torque takes place directly through a rigid connection to the thrust ring via an output gear stage.
