The gear for a mill includes a planetary gear (6) with a rotary disc (61) with upwards extending shafts (611) for planet wheels (62). A drive pinion (5) meshes with the planet wheels which are installed inside a gear ring (44) and mesh with it. A fitting spigot (612) extends from the underside of the disc through the axial seat hole (45) of a cylindrical coupling seat (4). If the motor (2) is started the motor's gearwheel (22) and train of drive pinions (3,5), planetary gearwheels, and gear ring are set in rotation and the fitting spigot on the underside of the disc transmits motion to drive the mill.
