The insulating layer consists of a prefabricated body (4) which is inserted in the casing stone (1) and joined to this (1) in areas (5) round the periphery and over the height of the stone (1) by an inserted and solidified grout mass (10). To achieve this close contact, the radii of curvature of the insulating body (4) are in each case smaller than those of the stone inside face (3). The inside radius of the stone can be infinitely flat where it defines the connection areas (5).
