The vehicle has front and rear wheels (2,3), a frame (4), a steering unit, a seat unit and wheel guides (14,24) connecting the wheels and frame. Rotary joints for spring cushioning the wheel guides are used to fold the wheels flat against the frame. The outer lateral boundaries of the folded vehicle are the outsides of the front and rear wheels, whereby the wheels are only attached to the guides on one side, which are on the inside in the folded state. An Independent claim is also included for a method of folding a two-wheeled vehicle.
