A leading ramp at the end of a conductor rail for guiding the current collector shoe of a rail vehicle vertically upwards is provided with a wedge-shaped notch (4) parallel to its longitudinal axis that does not impair the lower edge (3) of the contact surface. It extends from the end of the rail to an elongated hole (5). It tapers towards the hole and the surfaces of the wedge-shaped notch, pressed tightly against each other, are joined rigidly. Between the hole and the lower surface of the contact edge, a spiral spring (6) is formed with a relatively large bending radius.
