Plywood or long veneer lumber is assembled by gluing veneers (2) under pressure. In the outer layers, high temperature adhesive (3) is used while in the inner layers low temperature adhesive (4) is used so that the amount of heat to be transferred reduces towards the center where a temperature of about 60 deg C is attained.
