The transport arrangement includes a driverless, rail-guided, transport vehicle steered by guide rail(4). An electrically conducting switch(3), electrically isolated from the conductor rails(1,2), is provided at each branching, in the crossing area of the conductor rails. The dimension of the isolation in drive direction between the switch and the adjacent conductor rail is smaller than the dimension of the associated slide contact. The electrically conductive guide rail is supplied with a high frequency electric signal for an electromagnetic receiver. The switch is supplied with electric energy independent of the conductor rails.
