The funnel (12,22) is located between the back of a bath (3) and its tiled front, near the overflow. It opens into the waste pipe (24) via a pipe section (23) angled through approx. 20 deg , so that bath water dammed up in the funnel unit is not sprayed in front of the outlet (17) of the waste (20,26,19) from the relief valve outlet (9,18) of the system divider (11), but emerges at an angle of approx. 20 deg past the funnel and through the separate funnel overflow (25). The waste pipe opens into the siphon trap (29) under the bath waste (28). Drain screen (47) and backflow preventer (48) can be removed separately.
