The connector device has a connector strip (2) provided with contact elements for connecting the cable fibres of several cables with shield flex. The device also has a plastic strip holder (5) formed of a base part and a wire guide part (6). The holder (5) has several bridge plates (7) to guide the wires and to receive the connector strip (2). Metallic shield plates are arranged on both sides of the guide part (6). The device also has a front plate (13) connecting the connector strip and the guide part (8). The bridge plates (7) are formed on the ends of the wire guide (6) as end bridge plates (8) with locking devices (25) to lock the front plate (13) and lock in the connector strip (2). A one piece screen plate (3) is provided on both sides of the bridge plates (7) between the two end plates (8) of the wire guide (6).
