The container comprises a base (40), side walls (42,46), a lid (50) and several envelopes (10). Each envelope is capable of receiving one bag and comprises two main surfaces linked by two parallel sides and a base. Each side is provided with a catching part (26,28) extending over a part of one side length. These parts comprise a catching portion in the shape of a fold and a reduced thickness linking portion which connects the catching portion to the envelope side. The container has parallel grooves (58) extending along its height, each groove being able to receive the fold and the linking portion.
