The system has a sampling base (16) and sampling collector (18) which are located and held together by a mechanical central locking and valve control system (11-13). A locking and valve control lever (12) is first moved to cause rinsing liquid (1a,1b) to clean the system and then to introduce a sample (10a,10b) into a plunger tube (7) in the sampling collector (18).
