The cleaner consists of a semi-rigid rail fixed to the outer shell of the steam generator between diametrically opposite apertures and a system for delivering the cleaning liquid at high pressure to the tube plate while moving along the rail. The liquid is delivered through three spray bars (30), each with a body (33) carrying nozzles (30a) which can be moved in a vertical plane to sweep the tube plate between its center and edges.
