Bearing for two mobile components (34D, 34G) comprises ball-and-socket joint which has first socket (42) linked to one of mobile components. Inner surface (42I) of socket fits over ball (40) on which it is pivoted. Its outer surface (42E) forms second pivot over which second socket (44) linked to second mobile component is fitted. Inner surface (44I) forms additional socket for second pivot. An Independent claim is included for a windscreen wiper system containing the bearing.
