the digital receiver reduced activity duration technique has an asynchronous packet protocol. The protocol has two types of digital blocks, a first type having digital word bits (DU), error detection bits (CRC) and parity bits (PRY). The second type has parity bits calculated from the first parity bits. On reception, the error absences are verified in blocks by bit error detection, memorising their absence or presence, and in the absence of an error the receiver is set to the inactive state.
