The framework (1) provides compact storage for a large number of crowd control barrier sections (4). It has upper and lower side-arms (3) on which the barrier sections may be hung in an upright position. They may be stored at two levels. The side-arms are supported on vertical posts (2) with sideways bracing on the foot by triangular webs (18), and bracing in the longitudinal direction by diagonal struts (12). The side arms are braced by triangular webs (17).
