A simple folding portable frame to support a horse saddle comprises two upright struts (2, 3) forming an A frame supported on two horizontal ground struts (6). The saddle is supported on a horizontal bar (8) fitted to the top of the A frame and extending in the same direction as the ground struts. The A frame is fitted with a cross brace (7) for adjustable fitting. The frame components are made of tubular material and can include telescopic sections and hinges to fold into a compact space.
