The control device comprises a rotating shaft (1) comprising upper (2) and lower (3) gearing. A first set of racks consists of two racks which have parallel axes and are located either side of the upper gearing. A second set consists of racks whose parallel axes are perpendicular to those of the first rack and located either side the lower gearing. The four racks are guided by guides (4,5) and have at their ends connecting rod- rod -connecting rod fixings.
