PURPOSE:To provide a web free from a stuffy and steamy state and giving a comfortable wearing touch, when used for clothes. CONSTITUTION:A web having an excellent refreshing property is characterized by containing hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers each having a modified cross section, the fibers being doubled or employed as warps and wefts, respectively, to contact each other, the ratio by weight of the hydrophobic fibers to the hydrophilic fibers being 100:20, and he area of the hydrophilic fibers occupies =20% of all area of the fibers exposed on the surface of the web.
