PURPOSE: To provide a seal material having good ink-transferring and paper- releasing properties by using a mixture of a synthetic resin containing fluorinated alkyl groups and rubber for a surface layer. ;CONSTITUTION: A seal material is prepared by bonding a surface layer 53 to a ground fablic 51 or, if necessary, to a layer in which a compression layer 52 of an elastomer is placed on the ground fablic 51. A mixture of a synthetic resin containing fluorinated alkyl groups and rubber is used for the surface layer 53. A polymer of an ethylenic unsaturated monomer A having more than one fluorinated alkyl group in a molecule or a copolymer of α,β-ethylenic unsaturated monomer B with the monomer A is used for the synthetic resin, while acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber is applied to the rubber. The mixture of the synthetic resin and the rubber, after being kneaded, is vulcanized and chlorinated to prepare a composition to be used for the surface layer 53.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
