PURPOSE:To shorten a period from the injection of fuel to the actual suction thereof into a cylinder for preventing the fuel from being atomized and less combustible by injecting the fuel in timing near an intake stroke when engine temperature is judged to exceed a certain value. CONSTITUTION:A synchronous injection type electronic fuel injection controller is provided with a fuel injection valve 3 for injecting fuel near an intake port 5 and an injection timing control means 6 for injecting a predetermined amount of fuel by operating the fuel injection valve 3 when an intake valve 18 is closed. Then, a temperature detecting means 15 for detecting the temperature of an engine 1 is provided and a temperature judging means 7 judges whether or not the temperature of the engine 1 detected by the means 15 is under a fixed value. If the temperature of the engine 1 is judged under the fixed value by the temperature judging means 7, an injection timing altering means 8 alters the injection timing of fuel by the injection timing control means 6 to the earlier one to shorten an evaporating period of the fuel.
