T cell receptor gene and DNA component located in alpha locus

PURPOSE: To obtain a DNA sequence and a DNA component for expressing a surface protein expressed in the mature early period of T-cells and acting as the δ-subunit of a γ:δ-different kind dimer. ;CONSTITUTION: This DNA component contains an expression cassette containing a region for initiating transcription and translation, a gene coding a peptide under the initiation control of the region or a fragment of the gene, and a region for finishing the transcription and the translation. Therein, the expression cassette contains about 5Kbp of a wild type sequence of a gene. The gene has characteristics comprising (a) being a cDNA corresponding to a recombined germline DNA or a processed and recombined germline DNA, (b) containing a V.D.J.C region corresponding to the alpha subunit region of a T-cell receptor, (c) being placed at a gene locus except the gene locus of the alpha subunit of the T-cell receptor, and (d) being expressed in the expression early period of a vertebrate containing the gene.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
