PURPOSE: To produce an X-ray material suitable for non-destructive test. ;CONSTITUTION: An emulsion layer of the X-ray material contains a mixture of a chemically aged cubic system crystal silver bromoiodide emulsion particle having 0.30μm particle diameter with a chemically aged cubic system crystal silver chloride and/or silver chlorobromide and/or silver chlorbromoiodide emulsion particle, which has a size smaller to 30% larger than that of silver bromoiodide particle and exists in the quantity 20wt.% per total quantity of the applied silver halide crystal. When the emulsion mixture is used in a strongly cured thin coating layer, particularly when a non-movable blue coloring agent is added at least in one of a hydrophilic colloid layer covered on a blue colored supporting body, there is an advantage that an adequate cold blue image having adequate surface glare after developing the exposed material is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
