FM-CW radar system using image information

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of both the signal analytic result of an FM-CW radar and other system used therefor. CONSTITUTION:In an FM-CW radar system, an alarming dispaly system which calculates data of a distance and a speed at every repetition period of frequency modulation, fixes plural pieces of continuous calculation data as distance and speed data when they are within a prescribed range and outputs them and displays an alarm in relation with a preceding vehicle is furthermore provided with a distance and speed calculation part 6 for making a tracking running system controlling the acceleration/deceleration of a drivers own vehicle use the output and a picture processing part 9 which processing of a picture obtained from an on-vehicle camera, recognizes a positional relation both between a preceding vehicle and road shapes and between the preceding vehicle and the driver's own vehicle, changes calculation data fixing distance and speed data based on the piece of picture data and corrects the algorithm of an alarm system the tracking running system.
