PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically control a doctor knife in contact with a wiping roller for coating with a resin material by providing a moving mechanism by a servo mechanism to move the knife to mold the roller. ;SOLUTION: The coating mechanism comprise a rotatably supported wiping roller base 1 and a first moving mechanism 4 having a doctor knife 3 in contact with the base 1. In this case, the mechanism 4 is automatically controlled by a second moving mechanism 4' having a servo motor 5 to automate moving of the knife 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
