PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding tool or binding piece, or a binding material capable of fixing a horticultural support and a binding material for supporting the trunk, branches and the like of a plant on the support and the plant by one action, and supporting them, in order to realize the following: saving the time for binding and solving the annoyingness accompanying a work when the plant or the like is bound to the horticultural support; preventing the danger of sticking a finger of the like with the binding material when handing it; saving natural resources by making the binding material recyclable many times; reducing the waste of a binding material due to cutting miss or excess purchase, to save expenses; and forming the binding tool an environment-friendly biodegradable synthetic resin material. SOLUTION: The horticultural support and binding tool of the present invention are prepared, the support is stuck into the ground by the side of a place where a plant is set, the binding tool of the present invention is fixed on the support stuck there, and the trunk, a branch or the like of the plant is bound to the binding tool to support the plant. The number of the binding positions of the binding tool is increased or decreased depending the size of the plant.
