PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce friction coefficient in a sliding part in a hot dip metal plating bath and to improve its slidability by composing at least either the shaft of a roll or the sliding part of a bearing of a ceramic sintered body contg. a material excellent in solid lubricity. ;SOLUTION: At least either the bearing of a roll or the sliding part of a bearing in a continuous hot dip metal plating device is composed of a ceramic sintered body contg. a material excellent in solid lubricity. For example, either the bearing of the roll or the sliding part of the bearing is composed of sialon, and the other is composed of a ceramic sintered body as an SiC-C composite material. Or, either the shaft or the sliding part of the bearing is composed of a ceramic sintered body dispersedly incorporated with a material excellent in lubricity by 1 to 50 vol.%. As for the material having solid lubricity, preferably, carbon powder having ≤50 μm average particle size or carbon fiber having ≤150 μm diameter is used and is dispersedly incorporated into the sintered body by about 1 to 70 pts.wt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
