PURPOSE: To minimize the setting space of a branching device and reduce the power for rail switching. ;CONSTITUTION: A rail 8a is turned horizontally outward with a vertical shaft 23 as the center, and a rail 8b is turned horizontally outward with a vertical shaft 33 as the center and retreated, while a rail 10b is rotated down at 90° with a horizontal shaft 42 as the center to connect one rail 7b to a rail 9b, and the auxiliary guide wheel of a car is rolled on one rail 7a → the rail 9a, and on one rail 7b → the rail 10b → the rail 9b. The rail 10b is rotated up at 90° and retreated, while the rail 8a is turned horizontally inward to connect one rail 7a to the other rail 7a. The rail 8b is turned horizontally inward with the vertical shaft 33 as the center to connect one rail 7b to the other rail 7b, and the auxiliary guide wheel of the car is rolled on one rail 7a to the rail 8a to the other rail 7a, and on one rail 7b to the rail 8b to the other rail 7b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
