PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a miscellaneous bean meal-processed food material improved in taste and palate feeling, which is intended for expanding its use and shortening its processing time, and to obtain the subject food material. ;SOLUTION: This method for producing a miscellaneous bean meal-processed food material comprises addition of water and a plant tissue-splitting enzyme to miscellaneous bean meal, and grinding-treatment of the resultant in a biomill reactor 10; and as a result, hard plant tissues, carbohydrates, protein, etc., contained in the miscellaneous bean meal are efficiently micronized in a short time through enzyme action by the plant tissue-splitting enzyme and mechanical shearing action, i.e., grinding, and therefore, productivity and also quality of the miscellaneous bean meal-processed food material are improved, its bitterness or the like peculiar to the miscellaneous bean meal becomes low, its feelings on the tongue and the throat are soft, and its flavor and palate feeling become excellent.
