PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a subsidiary chamber from being deformed with imparted concentrated load to the subsidiary chamber by a stopper plate provided on a cylinder head gasket and to secure seal performance, in the cylinder head gasket interposed into a coupling surface of a cylinder head and a cylinder block of an indirection injection diesel engine with the subsidiary chamber mounted on a lower part of the cylinder head. SOLUTION: In the cylinder head gasket for indirect injection diesel engine, a stopper plate 5 for surrounding a cylinder bore 21 is laminated on one surface of at least two sheets of laminated boards 2, 3 or one surface of a subplate 4 held between the laminated boards 2, 3, an inner peripheral shape of the stopper plate 5 has a shape to avoid an outside diameter of the subsidiary chamber 30, an outer peripheral shape of the stopper plate 5 is formed into a shape to be stored in an inside range of a cooling water hole 13 around the cylinder bore 21, and also the cylinder bore beads 7 of the boards 2, 3 in the range that the stopper plate 5 is laminated are formed around the cylinder bore 21 to avoid the outside diameter of the subsidiary chamber 30.
