Pharmaceutical dosage form preparation of pharmaceutical dosage forms bioadhesive properties and are prepared in this manner

A method for preparing a sustained-release bioadhesive galenical, wherein (a) at least a part of the active principles is mixed with an amount of natural proteins which represents at least 50 % by weight of active principle, and with 0.5 - 10 % of a hydrophilic polymer; (b) the mixture obtained in (a) is granulated in the presence of alcohol of about 60° and dried to lower its moisture content of about 3 %; (c) once sized, the granules thereby obtained are mixed with commonly used excipients, particularly fillers, lubricants, flavourings and sweeteners; and (d) the mixture obtained in (c) is compressed to form sustained-release bioadhesive tablets. A galenical having lasting mucosal adhesion properties is also provided.
