PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antitumor agent as a new application of a pharmaceutical composition or a proton pump-inhibitor [V-ATPase inhibitor, H+/K+-ATPase inhibitor, V-ATPase uncoupler (containing H+/Cl- symporter)] containing, as an active ingredient, tumor-specific antigen peptide, DNA and RNA encoding the peptide, antibody against the peptide, recombinant vector containing the DNA or RNA and transformant containing the recombinant vector, DNA or RNA hybridizing to the DNA or RNA under a stringent condition (antisense DNA or antisense RNA), or leucocyte reacting with the peptide or binding with an antibody against the protein. SOLUTION: A tumor-specific antigen peptide that contains at least an amino acid sequence constituting c", c or a subunit of V-ATPase, and tumor-specifically expresses, an antibody against the peptide, and an agent for treatment or diagnosis using DNA or RNA encoding the peptide, as well as a new application of a proton pump-inhibitor as an antitumor agent are provided.
