PURPOSE: To obtain a medical treatment material which withstands many times of puncture and has excellent bioadaptability by laminating a layer composed of a non-woven fabric of an olefin elastomer on a layer consisting of a resin formed by mixing a prescribed amt. or above of isoprene deriv. with a styrene and/or olefin elastomer. CONSTITUTION: A pressed sheet having a thickness of 0.4m is obtd. by well mixing 100g styrene elastomer and 20g squalene as the isoprene deriv. and maturing the mixture by standing overnight, then maintaining a hot press machine at 160 deg.C. Next, the non-woven fabric of a thickness of 0.2m composed of fine fibers of a fiber diameter of about 10 to 15μm is obtd. from the olefin elastomer. Further, the pressed sheet and the non-woven fabric are superposed on each other and are then thermally fused by heat treating both for 5 minutes at 120 deg.C in an oven, by which the puncture resistant medical treatment material is obtd.
