DETERMINATION OF PROPER SET VALUE OF ARTIFICIAL RESPIRATOR FOR PATIENT SUFFERING FROM LOWERING OF ALVEOLAR VENTILATION IN SLEEP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for determining a proper set value for an artificial servo respirator to be used in the sleep. SOLUTION: The respiration characteristics of a patient are measured in the learning period when the patient is awake. Based on the measured respiration characteristics of the patient, a set value of the target ventilation quantity can be calculated by another method. The calculated set value is used for implementing the minimum ventilation quantity during the treatment period, during which the ventilation aid is performed by a servo-controlled artificial respirator.
