PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-line simultaneously straightening and cutting method of austenitic stainless steel shapes in a hot-rolling line by which the efficiency of the whole line is improved even in the case that the sufficient length of a cooling bed is not secured. ;SOLUTION: The cooling bed 13, cooling system 14, straightening machine 15 and cutting machine are successively arranged on the outlet side of a hot- rolling mill 11. One or plural lines of the shapes 8 placed on the cooling bed 13 are fed to the cooling system 14, successively fed to the straightening machine 15 and the shapes 8 which is carried out of the straightening machine 15 is cut for each prescribed length. The feed rate of the shape 8 in the cooling system 14 is changeable into at least two stages of high speed and low speed and, when the tip part of the shape 8 passes through the cooling system 14, the feed rate of at least a part of the shape is taken as low speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
