PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the generation frequency of a fault in a software. ;SOLUTION: A fault factor extracting means 150 of a server computer 100 extracts the contents of a fault and a fault factor from a client fault execution environment information database 220, a client specifying means 160 specifies a client computer with possibility to reproduce the extracted fault factor out of a client configuration information database 210, a fault predictive information transmitting means 170 transmits fault predictive information containing the fault contents and fault factor to the specified client computer 300, a fault predictive information receiving means 340 of the client computer 300 receives the fault predictive information from the server, a fault predictive information storage means 350 stores the received fault predictive information in a fault predictive information database 410, and a fault factor investigating means 360 investigates whether the execution environment of the present client computer under operating at present includes the fault factor stored in the fault predictive information database 410 or not.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
