PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating machine having improved energy efficiency and highly practical use.;SOLUTION: This rotating machine 20 is provided with a rotor 12 and a stator 11, where one of the rotor 12 and the stator 11 involves a plurality of magnets, consisting of a basic master which has a plurality of working surfaces on its one end opposed to the other for attraction are disposed continuously, so as to be brought into magnetic contact with each other in the axial direction of the rotating machine. The other is provided with unit attraction parts which are disposed to oppose the working surfaces respectively and consist of a plurality of magnetic bodies attracted by the working forces. The basic factor is provide with an electromagnet part and permanent magnets disposed on both sides thereof through a contact surface, and the working surface and the contact surface counterposed with each other via the permanent magnet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
