PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing a double labeling detection method due to chemoluminescence in situ hybridization and immunohistochemical dyeing with respect to the same specimen and a detection apparatus for performing detection with high sensitivity and high resolution. ;SOLUTION: In a double labeling detection method for detecting tissue or a cell having a specific nucleic acid and a second cell related substance other than a nucleic acid by combining chemoluminescence in situ hydridization and immunohistochemical dyeing, a process for performing chemoluminescence in situ hybridization with respect to tissue slices or cells in a specimen by using a probe for a target intracellular nucleic acid, a process for obtaining the emission image of the specimen, a process for storing a position generating luminescence in the specimen, a process for performing immunohistochemical dyeing by using an antibody to the second cell related substance and a process for obtaining the transmitted light image of the specimen to which immunohistochemical dyeing is applied at the stored position are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
