METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR JUDGMENT OF ABNORMALITY OF WATER-LEVEL DETECTION BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect whether an abnormality exists in a water-level detection body. ;SOLUTION: The water-level sensing body 8 is fixed, by a holding part 14, to the top wall of a water-level control tube 7 in an electrically insulated state. A power supply 15 which applies a current is connected, via electric interconnections, to the upper end of the sensing body 8 and the sidewall of the control tube 7. A current sensor 16 is connected to the sensing body 8 in a state that it is connected in series with the power supply 15 via the electric interconnection. Consequently, when a water level is raised in such a way that water comes into contact with the sensing body 8, the current flows across the sensing body 8 and the control tube 7, and the current is sensed by the current sensor 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
