PURPOSE:To provide the subject reagent composed of a reagent group containing creatine phosphate and a specific antibody, capable of easily and quickly determining the change in the M subunit of creatine kinase using only a small amount of serum and useful for the early diagnosis of myocardial infarction. CONSTITUTION:The objective reagent is composed of (A) a reagent group containing creatine phosphate and (B) a reagent containing an antibody inhibiting a creatine kinase (CK)-M subunit and free from inhibition of CK-M' subunit. The antibody in the component B is preferably a monoclonal antibody, which can be produced from a hybridoma produced by fusing a myeloma cell to a lymphocyte capable of producing anti-CK-M antibody.
