METHOD FOR COMPENSATING NONLINEARITY OF WHEATSTONE BRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for compensating nonlinearity between a physical quantity inputted into a sensor and an output voltage therefrom in the case of a Wheatstone bridge.;SOLUTION: In addition to a detection element, a compensation element utilizing a change of resistance is provided in a sensing part of the sensor. A circuit is formed by using the compensation element as a resistor for setting the amplification-degree of an instrumentation amplifier. The nonlinearity of the Wheatstone bridge is compensated by a resistance change of the compensation element.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
